Between trees
For a few days I would place different types of wicker sticks between two trees which were fused together. It was crucial to me that I’d find a certain visual rhythm between the two of them. This work was completely natural and I have used no artificial junctions such as glue or screws. Over time, exposed to rain and wind, the trees will have come back to their original form.
The project took first place during the XI international festival of sculptures in Poleski Ośrodek Sztuki. The construction measures approximately 4 metres of height.
Pomiędzy drzewami
Przez kilka dni układałem różne gatunki wiklinowych gałązek pomiędzy dwoma zrośniętymi ze sobą drzewami. Zależało mi na tym, aby odnaleźć pewien rytm wizualny pomiędzy nimi. W pracy nie wykorzystałem żadnych sztucznych spojeń w postaci kleju czy śrub.
Z biegiem czasu, pod wpływem deszczu i wiatru drzewa powrócą do swojej pierwotnej formy.
Praca wykonana podczas XI międzynarodowego pleneru rzeźby w Poleskim Ośrodku Sztuki. Konstrukcja ma około 4 metrów wysokości.
